- Shrek utilizes two separate, yet
identical theaters - the second

second theater opened in March 2005.
- Each theater seats 300 guests.
- The attraction utilizes a digital
projection system - one of the first
theme park attractions to ever use
this new technology.
- Each theater has built in lighting
effects that are triggered to go off
at certain times to immerse the
audience into the film.
- The show lasts approximately 12
minutes, 30 seconds.
- This was the first film that
animation studios Pacific Data Images
(PDI)and DreamWorks ever developed for
a theme park.
- Before the film "Shrek 2" was
released in theaters, DreamWorks
released a special edition DVD of the
original, which included a DVD
(complete with 3D glasses) of the film
shown in the attraction.
- Stationary seating is available in
the first row when requested.
- Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron
Diaz, and John Lithgow reprise their
original roles for the attraction.
- The attraction is presented by
