In this area, you can stroll through
some amazing New York sets that capture
the feel of the real (and reel) New
York. You can leisurely walk through
Gramercy Park, past Macy's and the New
York Public Library, or get your picture
taken outside of Doc's Candy Store
(based on the hang out in West Side
Story) or Annie's Orphanage. New York is
the home to some of Universal's best
street shows, so push your way in, grab
some sidewalk, and enjoy. |

- Strolling through New York you
can spot several famous locations
from many of your favorite films. To
name a few, you can find Louie's
Italian Restaurant and Bull's Gym
from The Godfather, and Adrienne's
Pet Shop from Rocky.
- The statue in New York is of
former CEO of MCA/Universal Lew
Wasserman, only his head was placed
onto Abraham Lincoln's body.
This statue can also be found
crashed through the ground in
Richter's, simulating the aftermath
of an earthquake.
- Many visitors do not take notice
of the progression of time
throughout New York. Travelling from
one end of the street to the other,
you will notice that the building
types and traffic lights change from
era to era from past decades to most
recent.
