The logo slightly resembles the old one.

The Volkswagen sponsorship with Revenge of the Mummy
appears to be over. The logo was removed from the entrance
and the Touareg that was parked out front has also been
cleared.

With one promotion gone, in comes another!

Signs around the attraction now advertise the newest
film in the Mummy franchise - "The Mummy: Tomb of the
Dragon Emperor." The film stars Brendan Fraser and Jet Li,
and will be released in theaters August 1st.

The sign in front of Sahara Traders invites guests to
"experience the game demo" inside the store.

Venturing into the arcade, you will find a rather neat
feature that the sign was referring to - hanging from the
ceiling are instruction on how to download the game
directly onto your Nintendo DS by merely standing inside
the store. Kind of neat - but how many people bring their
gaming systems to a theme park?

Universal 360 returns for the summer - the cinespheres
have been shined and polished, and are looking better than
ever.

Universal now offers a character breakfast at the
International Food and Film Festival. The breakfast
features the Simpsons.

Two large maps of fictional theme park "Krustyland"
have been added to the front of the attraction. The maps
replaced two large banners that previously read "Welcome
to Krustyland."

Changes are underway for the Horror Make-Up Show. The
exhibit is currently under renovation and all of the Van
Helsing props are getting the ax. Thankfully, the new
exhibit focuses on classic horror movies and some popular
techniques of make up and effects. While the exhibit is
partially viewable, it is officially set to open on
Thursday, July 3rd.

The windows out front have been touched up to feature
several popular monster masks and make-up tools. |
