Bilge-Rat Barges |

|
Popeye and Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges, set
in the town of Sweet Haven, is a water
ride in which guests ride in circular,
12-passenger rafts that swirl and dip
through some pretty rough rapids. Along
the way, the common plot of Bluto trying
to steal Olive from Popeye is presented.
Perhaps the most impressive figure is
the 18-foot tall Octopus clutching
Popeye tightly, preventing him from
reaching his spinach. There are a
variety of ways to get drenched ranging
from water sloshing over the sides of
the raft to passing under falling water
to getting fired at by the water cannons
mounted on Me Ship, The Olive as the
rafts slowly float by. Chances of all
riders not getting completely soaked are
next to none. |
