In early Summer of 2007, Universal Orlando announced the newest
addition to the Islands of Adventure theme park. Based off of
author J.K. Rowling's books "Harry Potter," "The Wizarding World
of Harry Potter" is set to open in late 2009 to early 2010.
Construction broke ground on the new island in October 2007.
The new
area is going to allow guests to visit several locations from
the books including Hogwart's Castle, Hogsmeade Village, and
even the Forbidden Forest. Concept art previously released by
Universal Studios can be found below. Keep an eye out for more
