The Eighth Voyage of Sindbad is a
live-action stunt show that takes place
on an elaborate cavern-like set
decorated with, among other things,
wrecked pirate ships, one of which has
crashed into the middle of the viewing
area. The show pits the heroic Sindbad,
his silly sidekick Shish Kebob, and the
beautiful Princess Amora (who is very
capable of defending herself) against
the wicked sorceress Miseria and her
clan of monstrous brutes. The
spectacular, explosive finale is topped
off with a breathtaking plunge by a
stunt man swallowed up in flames. The
legendary Sindbad’s eighth voyage is
surely like no other. |

- The amphitheater can seat up to
1,750 people.
- Special effects include 6 water
explosions, approximately 50
pyrotechnic effects, a firey circle
that is 10 feet tall, and a
spine-tingling 22 foot dive by a stunt
man whose entire body is engulfed in
flames.

“Miseria: Hey Sindbad! You
want to play hero? Play with him!”
“Kabob: Ain’t that just like a
woman? Get her a big rock and bam! She
turns into a witch!”
“Kabob: Who’s afraid of her?
After seven voyages, two dragons—fire
breathers, I might add, four giants, not
the jolly green ones, and Minotaur… not
a scratch! Hey Misera! It’s Sindbad and
Kabob! Take your best shot!”
“Amoura: There’s nothing you
can do. Only the Sultan’s heart has the
power to release me.”
“Kabob: Stay here? You talkin’
to me? You talkin’ to me?! Forget about
it! I’m not staying here alone… with the
monsters… and the skeletons… and the
treasure… the treasure! Excuse me!”
“Misera: What’s the matter,
Princess? Afraid of a little… fire?”
“Kabob: Up here, Sindbad! That
was better than Dueling Dragons!”
“Kabob: Hey! The treasure is
ours! I’m rich! I’m rich! I’m… I’m hurt.
But I’m rich!
Sindbad: And may all your days
be filled with…
Kabob: Laughter!
Amoura: Romance!
Sindbad: And adventure!” |
